Ministry of Interior Warns Against Responding to Suspicious Calls and Messages

Qatar's Ministry of Interior has issued a public advisory urging citizens and residents to exercise caution and refrain from responding to suspicious phone calls and messages that exploit current circumstances and falsely claim affiliation with government entities within the state.

The ministry warned that fraudulent actors are attempting to take advantage of prevailing conditions by impersonating officials from various government agencies, seeking to extract personal information, financial details, or other sensitive data from unsuspecting individuals.
