The QE Index opened sharply higher, with broad-based buying across banking, energy and real estate sectors driving the advance. Trading volumes in the first hour exceeded daily averages as institutional and retail investors moved swiftly to price in the improved geopolitical outlook.

The rally came after multiple parties confirmed a temporary truce agreement late Monday, raising hopes for a sustained de-escalation of hostilities that have weighed heavily on regional sentiment for months. The state's liquefied natural gas exports, which account for a significant share of government revenue, have remained resilient throughout the conflict, but reduced geopolitical risk could unlock additional foreign direct investment and accelerate infrastructure spending ahead of major development programs.

Qatar's economy has demonstrated remarkable stability in recent quarters, supported by elevated energy prices and continued diversification efforts under the National Vision 2030 framework.
