Saudi Defense Ministry Intercepts One of Three Ballistic Missiles Aimed at Riyadh

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday that its air defense forces intercepted one of three ballistic missiles fired toward the capital Riyadh, with the remaining two landing in uninhabited desert areas outside the city, causing no reported casualties or damage to civilian infrastructure.

The ministry said in a statement that the missiles were detected and tracked by the kingdom's integrated air defense systems, which engaged the incoming projectiles shortly after they were identified.
